    Big HPI Center shock Length

HPI Center Shock Length 3.060 fully extended center to center

    I use Hperdrive adapter hd2524 http://www.lefthander-rc.com/catalog...oducts_id=2012

very important to check your pod "back travel" I like to start with 1.5mm and never more then 2.0mm... with car race ready with battery check ride height near LR corner of chassis by esc... Then lightly pull up on pod to fully extend the center shock... check with ride height gauge adjust length as needed... (more travel = more steering, more body roll) (less travel = less steering, less body roll)

Dom is there a process you use for selecting center spring? Or just by trial?

If travel is too much, 3mm, how do you reduce this number without giving up pod droop? Thank you

Shorten the shock shaft. Hold the shock shaft with needle nose pliers, gently not to scratch it, and turn the heim or ball cup, what ever you use on the shock shaft end.
